Here we go ....
I´m really crazy about muzak!!!! I´m making muzik for 5 years. In the first two years i used to make it with trackers (yep, not so professional, but ...) Now I use to play with Cubase VST 24 and many soft synths, like Rebirth 2.01, Rubberduck 2.04 ( I love that trance bass lines ), Generator (really powerfull soft synth, near to Nord Modular hardware synth), and AS-1 (what amazing strings and choirs ...). I use to play with many others, but these are the best for me. My wave editors are Soundforge 4.5 and Wavelab 2.01. They´re the most professional and powerfull to edit waves. But I have many others to do some specific works ( the Cool Edit Pro noise reduction tool is really cool ...). In hardware aspect I only have a Kawai K-4 synth (really cool string sound, and analogic emulation of basses like moog, but nothing to do in percussion sets ...), but I´m searching for a cheap cool sampler like EPS 16+ or Akai 2000. Now my sampler is my soundcard, an AWE32, with 2 MB of RAM (really poor, I know ...), but I have amazing percussion sets that my good friend Roman gave me. He is in muzak for about a century, hehehe. The muzak I prefer is a little wide, but concerning elektronik muzak. I love the new tendencies like Trance, Goa, and cool house. But what I like most is Techno. Intelligent and Progressive Techno are my illness. People like Orbital, Underworld and so ones ( to name the famous ones). But nothing to do in front of Lassigue Bendthaus, ScanX or Haujobb, that are my favourites. I love industrial too. German industrial, like Einstürzende Neubauten, :WUMPSCUT: , and many others. Here in Spain, they're not very famous, but I love them. Esplendor Geometrico is a Spanish industrial group I like most (and they're really apreciated in Germany). Other kind of muzak I like is Elektro-Dark. Really cool bands, like Project Pitchfork, Placebo Effect, Das Ich, and many others. And what about the classics in the scene???? Kraftwerk are the kings, but many others like Klinik, or Front242 are always in my mind. In Spain these scene is very short, specially in Barcelona. Only two or three places to listen this muzak. One of the classic ones is Akelarre, another is Petit Club (or Undead), and nothing else. But we have a really cool magazine called Sturm und Drang, but nothing to do in front of German scene .... sniff ...
After this amazing explanation of my muzak preferences, I really appreciate if you could send me your comments, or opinions or critics to me. And if you have the same likes, share knowledeges and make muzak toghether ...
